Rainy Day

A perfect day to catch you all up on the happenings in St. Lucia.

For a change I cannot blame internet for the lack in updates, instead I blame this beautiful island and all the wonderful company and friends we have been with. We have been out exploring and playing daily. Jeremy and Julie’s visit flew by, then we hung out with JuCa, Rozinante, and Godot, before we knew it Bob & Pete, Robert & Michelle and their bunch were here. It has been busy here and we have been enjoying every minute of it.

We went to the Carnival Celebrations while Jeremy, Julie, & Carsten were here. Rozinante and JuCa joined us. It was a good day even though the parade, which started at 4:30 am didn’t reach us until about 4:30pm with about 30 minute to hour long gaps in between floats, had us sitting outside in the heat of the day with three little kids and we wanted to be home before dark. We didn’t see much but we really enjoyed our own company.

When the Brixey bunch came to visit we did much of the same road trip. We saw the volcano and mud bath, the river rock waterfall, went sailing, fishing, hiking, snorkling and ziplineing. They even spent a day on the beach where they rented a jet ski, went watertubing, and parasailing. We really enjoyed their company and the week went by way to fast. We hope that you all will come visit again real soon.
