Quick update

After moving a record breaking  15.1 miles we are currently docked in Dunedin, FL (Done eat'n is how the locals tell us to pronounce it.) It’s a cute little town that, as Marilyn put it, is a little too nice. We can’t make it far without someone stopping us to visit, someone else taking pictures of Sissy, or still another just curious about our “cruising boat”. We enjoy visiting with everyone, but it makes it hard to get much anything else done. Perhaps the most surprising thing is that Ryan has only given 2 tours! >Everyone that has been on the boat knows that giving ‘The Tour’ is Ryan’s Favorite Thing, it may be the only reason we have the boat. :) And really it was just one group of people but it is too hard to get a large number of people through at once.

Our first night here we made several new friends, of course, and plan on having dinner with a couple of them tomorrow. When we got here we went out for our celebratory beer and dinner at Jollimon’s, the local happening place with a live band and special seating just for Sis. They even brought her a dish of water. And I had the BEST Caribbean Jerk Chicken, I gave Ryan a bite then had to defend my plate for the rest of the meal. And he doesn’t even like chicken!

This morning Marilyn and I got up early and went to the farmer’s market. Another happening place in the middle of the town square, it was more like a fair with it’s many different kinds of booths. Everything from fresh fruit and veggies to live music, orchids, and Columbian coffee. They even had a booth that specialized in pet snacks.5.15 004

We plan on being here a few more days stocking up on supplies, getting mail, and then moving on South. As always we are not in any kind of hurry just leaving “when it feels right”.
