Exploring the sites

Sadly we have left Honeymoon Bay, but other islands and sites were calling to us and we feel like we have thoroughly seen the area.

We are currently in Trellis Bay, Beef Island, BVI. We plan to stay until after the full moon party. (Hope to post pictures afterward)

On the way here we stopped at St. John and saw the petroglyphs. The waterfall wasn’t flowing and the pools were stagnant but it was still a beautiful place and a great hike.

Then as we came into the harbor we saw a boat that we recognized from Luperon, and Puerto Rico, S/V English Rose. So we dropped anchor and headed into town. We didn’t see them anywhere but got the layout of the area. And a phone call to Eric, Jaime, and Sophie.

Then we headed across to see Marilyn’s Eric Stone play. And as soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by not only English Rose but also Knot in Vein, a boat we had met in Puerto Rico. And after the hugs and hellos Eric announces over the sound system “Hey guys glad you made it.”

Where else in the world can you go and have a performance interrupted so they can tell you hi? HAHA We sure felt welcome.

So after singing and dancing the night away. We got up in the morning and headed over to The Baths. Knot in Vein joined us.

Unfortunately when we arrived they changed the flags to red and we were unable to take the dinghy in. But not the type to give in easily we made the trip over to town and took a taxi in. The Baths are amazing. If you haven’t done it, add it to your bucket list. Even on a cloudy day with large swells it was beautiful. Definitely a must see, pictures just aren’t good enough.
