We went, we saw, we got the pictures.
Not much to write about carnival, it was a lot of sitting on the side of the road and watching. But I’m glad that we stayed, I had fun.
So here is a shortened version for all of you. Enjoy.
On Thursday morning they start the Carnival with Jouvert. It is basically floats with bands playing and you follow the band that you like best. They play for hours nonstop and the people in the streets are dancing. We watched from the safety of Chase offshore.
On Friday they had the Children’s parade.
And on Saturday was the Adult Parade. We didn’t stay for the whole thing since it started at eleven am and ended sometime around midnight. We just went for a few hours in the afternoon.
