Today was the first time that I have felt stressed out by the wedding and reception. If fact today may be the first time that it has taken me much at all. Everything has seemed to fall in to place the whole time. I guess it had to come to an end sooner or later.
The outdoor wedding on our boat and dock has been cancelled due to extreme cold and freezing conditions here in Houston, TX. Apparently someone was listening and took me seriously when I said that I would get married when hell froze over. Although Houston is far from hell it's usually warm winter average of 60 F is nowhere in sight. We are seeing highs of 40.
Lucky for us though-after much help from Aunt Tess and lots of phone calls later. We have found an alternative. The people that own the charter wedding cruisers have agreed to rent us their smallest boat. We will not be leaving the dock but will have a warm place big enough for all of the expected guest. I am soo very thankful for them helping us out. Especially at litterally the last minute!
And after some talk, I think that Ryan and I have decided to fill our cups while it's raining and go ahead and get married tomorrow as well. So our 1.10.10 @ 10 anniversary will only be us remembering how happy we are to no longer be "out" in the bitter cold.

Hi Jen and Ryan,
Not sure you remember us - we're the people you stopped to visit in Venice with Marilyn. We can't wait to see photos of your wedding and want to send our bountiful wishes for a life of love, adventure, joy, and peace!
